Thanks - I searched but couldn't find it. She has to come to the realization that the church may not be infallible, it can't be forced on her or proven to her. I know "Meet the Mormons" isn't what I'm looking for I went through a very similar experience earlier this year and the community was extremely helpful. You can't provide that for her so your marriage will be defective from the outset. Perhaps with a note written on the back. If you talk to him about it, and he cares about your relationship enough, the two of you will probably be able to find something that works for both of you. Anyway, i know that this is not the experience of every surgical marriage but i guarantee most of them can relate in some way or another.

To her, if you don't marry in the temple, she will probably do it after you die anyway. Order flowers and arrange to have a friend or family member in the area place the flowers for them there. No doubt that all rightetous persons will accept Christ but not everyone that dies will be righteous. You and your husband are truly a team, even though things are not always equal. If my husband and I had been dating during any of this, it would not have lasted long a few weeks maximum.
If you don't mind some slightly off-topic advice, I can assure you that you will meet plenty of other beautiful, interesting women going forward. I've read some of the articles linked to by mormonessays. Tough to say what will impact your girl most - but there's your best LDS. She will be pressured and will likely shut you out. I admit it is sometimes depressing going to bed without him and getting up seeing him still studying but I am sure we will survive this. December 17, I figured it might be fun to update you kind folks on what happened. I know this post is kind of all over the place but I had to get it out I Here's to hoping that this coming weekend he isn't on call, doesn't have to fill in, doesn't have a million charts to finish, and doesn't have any crazy medical emergencies!!.
It's been really tough and am only hoping to see a glimpse of the reward soon, whether it is simply watching a movie and actually finish it in one sitting or finally having dinner in the same room. If you are worries about her or her family trying to convert you, be honest. The church didn't do it to her but it helped create the environment that allowed it to happen. If you are dating a Mormon girl, then always wear a good shirt, jeans or pants, and avoid T-shirts with offensive wording or graphics. I knew a guy who joined the Mormon church because he thought it would help him date a certain Mormon girl, a girl who refused to date non-Mormons.
